Inspirée par Deleuze et Guattari, la série Ligne de fuite fait émerger la fragilité comme puissance. Les tissus anciens, usés ou fragilisés, sont conduits vers la désagrégation puis retenus juste avant le chaos, créant un « entre-deux » où la matière devient champ pictural et le geste sculptural. Dans le prolongement de E Viva !, l’artiste considère ce travail comme pictural, utilisant son vocabulaire textile : fils de différentes couleurs viennent border, soutenir et contenir les étoffes menacées, chaque geste engageant une attention extrême à la matière, envisagée comme un être vivant. La série réunit des textiles de différentes époques — soies, brocarts, tissus liturgiques, fragments de plaid ou de baldaquin — certains conservés depuis l’adolescence de l’artiste ou réédités par amour de la qualité du tissu. Le dialogue avec la matière est patient et attentif, transformant la fragilité en profondeur et en intensité expressive.

Inspired by Deleuze and Guattari, the Ligne de fuite series brings fragility to the forefront as a source of strength. Aged, worn, or weakened fabrics are guided toward disintegra- tion and then held just before collapse, creating an “in-between” where the material becomes a pictorial field and the gesture sculptural. Following on from E Viva!, the artist treats this work as painterly, employing her textile vocabulary: threads of various colors border, support, and contain the threatened fabrics, each gesture demanding extreme attention to the material, conceived as a living entity. The series gathers textiles from different periods—silks, brocades, liturgical fabrics, fragments of blankets or canopies—some preserved since the artist’s adolescence, others remade out of devotion to the quality of the textile. This patient, attentive dia- logue with the material transforms fragility into depth and expressive intensity.
